Dr. Palmer is Board Certified in Vascular Surgery and General Surgery. He trained at UNC-Chapel Hill for undergraduate and medical school. He completed his residency for General Surgery at Stanford University, where he was the chief resident of surgical education. At the University of Southern California, he finished his Vascular Surgery fellowship. After working as a busy vascular surgeon for the past 10 years in large healthcare conglomerates in the Bay Area, Dr. Palmer embarked on Vessel Health to provide more direct and personalized care to patients, a concierge-minded surgery practice. While he continues to operate as a vascular surgeon at Mills Peninsula Hospital, El Camino Hospital, and Good Samaritan Hospital, he has become passionate about early and proactive prevention for cardiovascular disease. To fulfill this mission, he is thrilled to be offering more medical and lifestyle management options to patients. These offerings will grow over time to serve more patients.

Dr. Palmer is married with two kids and a dog. He has called the Bay Area home since 2007. When he's not working, he enjoys hiking, playing the piano, and learning Spanish with his kids.
